Wednesday 25th February - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – sunny, very mild with light winds.

The forecast was samazing for February wall to wall sunshine, light winds with the temperatures reaching 18 degrees inland with Felixstowe making at least 14 ! Mag left for her early morning walk but rang which meant there was a decent sunsrise so I quickly dressed and drove down to the seafront and ended up parking near the Spa theatre just as Mag walked by. It was still too early for the sun so Mag continued her walk by the time she returned at 6.48 so we did a quick sunrise selfie:) Mag continued home and after taking a few more pics I joined her for a cuppa and send a few pics to the TV weather! Our lovely hairdresser Sue who has done our hair for over 40 years is coming over to give us a trim at 11 which gave us enough time for breakfast and exercises, I actually did mine in the sunny back garden! Sue arrived and did a good job with our hair, we then all went round to Mary’s for to have a cut and chat. We said our goodbyes and went for a walk to make the most of the lovely weather. Through the town and down the pram walk as a huge pink container was heading out on a very flat sea. Down to a very busy prom with so many people enjoying the warm sunshine, I even had my shorts on for the first time this year. We turned right and walked towards The Manor end to the SeaYou where we enjoyed a cream tea on the balcony:) We then continued to the end of the prom before returning home, we had a cuppa around 4.30 then I drove down to Felixstowe dock view point to see the sunset, what a top day!
